the assembly figure is absolute tosh, its much much higher. In economy and transport alone its more than that. Lies, damn lies and statistics......lots of civil service work is outsourced at huge expense to keep civil servie numbers down, may be good stats but its not value for money. Intersting to see how much European mnoey goes to consultants too
Good to see that the County where I live, Carmarthenshire, is the only one not to spend any money on 'management consultants'. Maybe they are classifying this expenditure as something else. Or are they so well 'managed' that they don't need help - I hope so.
