Pippa Wagstaff: Some people go too far

I would've thought that I've given enough away about my personality and identity from a selection of comments and posts over the last couple of months to satisfy a few, but not enough for some.

Not only has Bethan Jenkins AM raised questions, giving me a virtual slap across the face, but I've now received an email which has slapped the other cheek.

I'll hazard a guess that the following email is in response to an earlier post and there's still some confusion. Blogging certainly requires a thick skin.

Christine

Congratulations on your appointment to the Pembroke Coast National Park Authority. It goes without saying, commiserations for not getting another term on the Welsh Assembly but your workload should re-energise you. Well done!

Regards,

Ellenor from Australia.

Isn't Bethan the one that raises questions all the time? She must be missing the chamber.

Are/Were you Arsembly?

Pier Pressure 9 January 2008 at 22:54

Isn't Arsembly residing in mainland Europe these days?

Damon Lord 9 January 2008 at 23:14

Pierhead, that might be just a ruse....

Why wouldn't Arsembly come back under his old name and blog? Did he leave in disgrace or in a hurry? I've tried to access his blog but you need permission.

Damon - It doesn't matter what I say as you wouldn't believe me ;)

"Arsembly" I did try to add him to my Facebook friends and got no response. I guess he's given up for good.

Pierhead - great to have you on board after our email conversation.

I don't understand what you are implying. I don't know who you are, as you are an anonomoys blogger. I just raised that fact in a post! You can't get all defensive as a blogger about your identity when you choose not to disclose it!

Miss Wagstaff 10 January 2008 at 12:28

Bethan - only teasing. I'm sure that you're not capable of a slap, never mind a virtual one. Just thought it would be an amusing idea for a post after I received an email from Ellenor. Your comment on Peter's blog amused me, so if you receive a drink from a female stranger in the near future - cheers.

P.S. the drink is not a bribe in return for a link on your blog :)

bethan 10 January 2008 at 16:19

hmmm. didn't sound like you were teasing! I'm not the violent type, so no I wouldnt be that type at all!!
I need to update my blog. I will be getting a new one soon anyhow.

Senedd Whip 10 January 2008 at 16:21

Coem on Bethan. The post was obviously tongue in cheek. Good luck with the revamp blog.

Miss Wagstaff 10 January 2008 at 23:17

Sorry, but virtual slapping across the face sounds like messing about to me. Good luck with the redevelopment of the blog. x

Hang on, anon. Are you trying to say Miss Wagstaff is my evil twin or something? The lives of a blogger and a politician could not be more different. Evil twin Wagstaff spends her time muttering in corners, listening in on other people's conversations and then spewing out her bilious rhetoric in some late night catharsis. Whilst I.... Bugger. Nos da.
